Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kroc Attendant at the St. Joseph County Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. This part-time role includes supervising Kids Watch, assisting with programs, equipment check-in/out, and maintaining a safe, clean space.

Strong communication, outgoing personality, and comfort working with youth are essential. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour with Weekday evenings and Saturday shifts. Training in Safe From Harm and CPR is required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• English communication for effective interaction with leadership and guests.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn electronic reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate equipment check-in and check-out procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned area and its equipment per guidelines.
• Return equipment to the proper location.
• Report equipment breakdowns per procedure.
• Enforce safety guidelines consistently.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
• Supervise and entertain children in Kids Watch area while parents participate.
• Maintain Kids Watch readiness and cleanliness and daily observation logs.
