Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Driver to safely transport staff and children to schools, field trips, and various locations. You will ensure child safety, comply with regulations, and support daily center activities in a dynamic early education environment.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain, and strong communication skills. The role may involve lifting up to 40 pounds and flexible scheduling to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record (no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to drive center vehicles.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Able to work flexible hours and assignments.
• Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• At least two years of experience transporting children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children during transport.
• Comply with KinderCare and governmental regulations regarding child care.
• Keep Center Director informed of safety and care information.
• Assist with other daily center duties as needed.
• Transport center vehicle for servicing and maintenance.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and center events.
