Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Driver to safely transport staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations. You will ensure safety, comply with regulations, and assist with daily center duties.

Required are a valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Flexibility in hours and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with minimal moving violations in the past 3 years.
• 21+ years of age and able to drive center vehicles.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to work flexible hours and assignments.
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• At least two years of experience transporting children preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children during transport.
• Comply with KinderCare and governmental regulations regarding child care.
• Keep Center Director informed of care and safety information.
• Assist with other daily center duties as needed.
• Transport center vehicle for servicing and inspections.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and events.
