Job summary

Emler Swim School is seeking a passionate swim instructor to teach children from six months to twelve years, focusing on safety and confidence in the water. You’ll train with an experienced mentor and lead engaging weekly lessons that celebrate milestones and skill development.

The role requires evenings and weekend availability, a positive energy, and good communication. Paid training is provided, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet; teaching or swim experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn our proven swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Getting your steps in in this active, on-your-feet role.
• Teaching classes for kids from 6 months to 12 years; each age group brings new energy.
