Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Kids Supervisor to engage children aged 3 months to 11 years with safe, fun activities within the Academy and classes. You will greet members, guide interactive activities, and help maintain a positive, healthy environment.

The role requires high school completion, required First Aid and CPR/AED certifications within set timelines, and state/federal compliance prior to the first day. A strong service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Engages children in activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, singing, and games.
• Maintains a safe environment by monitoring toys and equipment and supervising children.
• Maintains operational documentation, audits and staffing checklists.
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services.
• Completes Team Member Evaluations and provides feedback and coaching as needed.

Job description

Position Summary

The Kids Supervisor enforces and provides best-in-class engagement and play. Manages and implements engaging safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of three months to 11 years within the Academy and classes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
• Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
• Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
• Customer service and strong communication skills

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.75 and pays up to $21.25, based on experience and qualifications.
