Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is looking for a Kids Supervisor to engage children from ages three months to 11 years with safe, fun activities.

You will greet members, run storytelling, crafts, and games, and ensure a healthy, secure environment while maintaining records and assisting with staff duties. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and certifications in Kids On-Demand Learning, First Aid, CPR/AED within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must complete Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before start date.
• First Aid, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certifications required within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Greets and engages members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Lead interactive activities: storytelling, arts and crafts, singing and games for children 3 months to 11 years.
• Monitor safety and maintain a clean, safe environment for children and toys.
• Maintain documentation, audits, and delegate cleaning checklists and staffing.
• Promote and sell Life Time Kids programs, products and services.
• Complete team evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.

Position Summary

The Kids Supervisor enforces and provides best-in-class engagement and play. Manages and implements engaging safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of three months to 11 years within the Academy and classes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
• Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
• Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
• Customer service and strong communication skills

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.50 and pays up to $21.00, based on experience and qualifications.
