Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Supervisor to lead engaging, safe activities for children from three months to 11 years within the Academy and classes. You will greet members, supervise play, and coordinate activities that create a positive family experience.

You will promote Life Time Kids programs, complete required certifications, and maintain a well-organized, healthy environment while delivering outstanding member service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete all Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of state or federal requirements prior to first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Engage children in storytelling, crafts, singing, and games.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment for toys, equipment and children.
• Maintain operational documentation, audits, and staffing checklists.
• Promote Life Time Kids programs, products and services.
• Complete team member evaluations and provide feedback.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
• Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
• Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
• Customer service and strong communication skills

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $20.50 and pays up to $25.75, based on experience and qualifications.
