Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Supervisor to lead engaging activities for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Academy and classes. You will greet members, run storytelling, arts and crafts, and games, while keeping safety and fun as priorities.

This role requires a High School Diploma and certifications in First Aid and CPR/AED within 60 days, plus Kids On-Demand Learning certificates before start. You will also promote Life Time Kids programs and support staff with coaching and

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certifications due within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work.
• State or federal requirements must be completed prior to first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Engage children with storytelling, crafts, singing and games.
• Monitor for safety and maintain a clean, safe environment around toys and equipment.
• Maintain operational documentation, audits, and staff checklists.
• Promote and sell Life Time Kids programs, products and services.
• Provide feedback and coaching through team member evaluations.

Job description

Position Summary

The Kids Supervisor enforces and provides best-in-class engagement and play. Manages and implements engaging safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of three months to 11 years within the Academy and classes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
• Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
• Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
• Customer service and strong communication skills
