Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Supervisor to lead engaging activities for children from three months to 11 years in our Academy and classes. You will greet families, help with story times, crafts, and group games, while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certifications and completion of on-site training within 60 days. Prior experience with children and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must complete Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before start date.
• First Aid, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certifications required within 60 days.
• Must meet all state or federal requirements before first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests professionally.
• Engages children in storytelling, arts and crafts, singing, and games.
• Maintains safe, healthy environment around toys and equipment.
• Maintains operational documentation, audits, and staffing checklists.
• Promotes Life Time Kids programs, products and services.
• Completes evaluations and provides coaching to teammates.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
• Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
• Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
• Customer service and strong communication skills
