Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a Children's Center Ski Instructor to teach basic skiing skills to 3-6 year-old children in a safe, fun environment. Instructors use PSIA/AASI methods and help build confidence and coordination on the slopes.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction and teamwork, with seasonal part-time to full-time options. Training is provided, including a PSIA/AASI certification program, and benefits may include medical coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• PSIA certifications preferred; background check required.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience with children preferred.
• Previous experience as a ski instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches beginner zone ski lessons using PSIA/AASI methodology to 3-6 year-olds.
• Creates a welcoming, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Assesses student abilities and provides constructive feedback.
• Upholds safety protocols and mountain policies.
• Attends required trainings and pursues professional development.
• Shovels snow and assists with daycare duties as needed.
