Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking Children's Center Ski Instructors to teach basic skiing to children aged 3–6 in a safe, fun setting. You’ll build confidence, coordination and a love of skiing while following PSIA/AASI curricula and contributing to a positive team culture.

Positions are seasonal, with part-time or full-time options; a background check including fingerprinting is required. Training opportunities and staff perks accompany the role.

Qualifications

• PSIA certifications preferred; background check with fingerprinting is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or preferred.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach beginner ski lessons to 3–6 year olds using PSIA/AASI methods.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment that builds confidence and skills.
• Assess student abilities and provide constructive feedback.
• Follow safety protocols and attend required training sessions.
