Job summary

Amazing Athletes is seeking an enthusiastic, part-time instructor to lead science and health activities for kids. The roles run 2pm–4:30pm on at least two afternoons per week, with additional morning hours available, across locations including Hunters Creek/Meadow Woods.

Candidates should love science and education, enjoy hands-on learning, and be able to follow lesson plans to create engaging activities while maintaining a positive classroom environment. A DCF background check is required.

Qualifications

• Background check via DCF background screening is required.
• Flexible, part-time schedule that works with school or another job.
• Passion for science, medicine, education, or hands-on learning.
• Must enjoy working with children and creating a fun, positive learning environment.
• Must be able to follow lesson plans and bring activities to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead morning programs with preschoolers and after-school classes with elementary-age students.
• Follow prepared lesson plans and bring activities to life in an engaging way.
• Create a fun, positive learning environment for children.
• Collaborate with Amazing Athletes staff to deliver the program.
