Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable instructor to lead a hands-on after‑school science class for K–5 students in Elizabeth, NJ. Curriculum, lesson plans and materials are provided; you bring energy, curiosity and a passion for teaching.

Teach a single weekly session on Tuesday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for additional mini-camps and assignments. Must have experience with children and reliable transportation to all scheduled dates.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• 2+ years teaching, instructing or coaching (preferred).
• Educational, training or youth-development experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, and able to commit to every scheduled date.

Responsibilities

• Lead the class with energy and keep every student engaged.
• Arrive early to set up, and hand students off safely at dismissal.
• Manage the room so it stays safe and fun.
• Stay in touch with your Program Success Manager.
