Job summary

Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho seeks a warm, enthusiastic Kids Programming Lead to support preschool and camp programs for children ages 2-5 year-round. This role offers the chance to shape early learning experiences through creative play, structured activities, and exceptional guest service.

You will supervise daily lesson plans, prepare materials, coordinate with the Director and Assistant Director, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and positive communication with families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with preschool, childcare, camp, education, or youth programs.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily lesson plans and maintain classroom schedules.
• Prepare materials and equipment for lessons and activities.
• Support each child's intellectual, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain clear and positive communication with parents, coworkers, and leadership.
• Supervise and engage children during camp activities such as snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding, and nature adventures.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to team members during activities.
