Job summary

Michaels Stores in Lynchburg, VA is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan, coordinate and facilitate in-store events, including kids birthday parties, delivering a fun and engaging experience for guests while ensuring fast, friendly service.

You will handle event details, work with customers and store teams, support BOPIS and SFS processes, and maintain store cleanliness and safety. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events within the Michaels store, including kids' parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants, and handle add-ons like goody bags and balloons.
• Assist customers, locate products, and provide solutions during shopping.
• Support checkout processes with fast, friendly service and enroll rewards program members.
