Job summary

Worship Center in Lancaster, PA seeks a Kids Ministry Assistant to support the Kids Team in developing age-appropriate biblical lessons and activities that help children grow in faith.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week, exempt) with weekend services and events; requires a high school diploma, prior administrative experience, and a valid PA Driver’s License, plus strong computer and communication skills to coordinate volunteers and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with preschool and elementary-aged children and parents is desired.
• Valid PA Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Interact with volunteers; share lessons, schedules, promotions, emails and texts.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for weekend and special services.
• Shop for and order supplies.
• Cover receptionist phones as scheduled.
• Lead ministry areas as needed.
• Plan and execute events (baptisms, Baby Dedication, Kids Camp, Christmas Eve).
• Plan and implement media for print, social, digital and worship media.
• Assist with themed ministry environments.
