Job summary

Christ Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant provides support and care for every aspect of the Children’s Ministry area. The role focuses on coordinating volunteers, preparing weekend resources, and assisting with weekend and midweek programming.

Reporting to the Kids Coordinator, you will attend staff meetings and help implement central initiatives. A degree in progress with a year in a kids ministry is preferred, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in progress; a focus in education/ministry is a plus.
• Experienced with 1 year in a kids’ ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.

Responsibilities

• Involved in selecting and equipping a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
• Ensure weekend resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience.
• Supporting weekend and midweek programming as directed.
• Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.
• Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.
• Serve as a PHASE expert.
