Job summary

Life Time is hiring a Kids Instructor to deliver educational and fitness-minded programming for children ages 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will organize, instruct, and safely supervise activities and games while promoting participation in Kids & Aquatics programs.

Applicants should complete required trainings, obtain First Aid and CPR/AED within 60 days, and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills to engage families and maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma not required.
• Complete Kids On-Demand Learnings before first day.
• First Aid/CPR–AED certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage members and guests warmly.
• Foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development by instructing organized activities.
• Prepare and set up for class and transfer kids to and from programming.
• Maintain records of children’s attendance, development, and incidents.
• Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Utilize positive behavior management techniques and communicate with parents and team members.
• Promote Junior programming to increase participation in Kids & Aquatics offerings.
• Maintain the Kids Academy and related areas per cleaning checklist and restock supplies.
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
