Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Las Vegas is seeking a Kids Events Team Member to lead children through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, gym games and themed programs. The role includes nutrition education and maintaining a high level of safety for ages 3–13.

You will supervise groups up to 10 children, promote monthly events to increase participation and revenue, and ensure supplies and snacks align with the department budget. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience
• First Aid within the first 60 days of hire
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms, reach, climb ladders
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Position Summary

The Kids Events Team Member leads children through a variety of activities including rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, gym games and more. They i ncorporate nutrition education with themed activities providing a high level of safety and fun for children from ages three to thirteen years.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget

Position Requirements

• 1 year of related experience
