Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Florida is seeking a Kids Events Team Member to guide children through rock climbing, swimming, crafts, gym games and themed activities with safety and fun at the forefront.

You will supervise groups of up to 10 kids aged 3–13, deliver nutrition education, and help promote monthly events while maintaining a welcoming, high-energy environment. Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience.
• First Aid certification within the first 60 days.
• CPR/AED certification within the first 60 days.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to stand, walk, and engage with children for long periods.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including arts and crafts, singing, sports, and games while ensuring safety.
• Leads a group of up to 10 children aged 3-13 with a positive, outgoing attitude.
• Demonstrates courtesy, service, hospitality, and professionalism to internal and external customers.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming for safety.
• Promotes monthly events and activities to increase participation.
• Ensures supplies, snacks and drinks follow department budgets.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget

Position Requirements

• 1 year of related experience
• First Aid Required within the first 60 days of hire
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
