Job summary

STAND is launching its first in-person location in Los Angeles and seeks a Lead Instructor to guide the classroom experience for kids aged 8 to 13. You will deliver the project-based curriculum, create an energetic and inclusive learning space, and work closely with the founder and guest entrepreneurs to bring real-world perspective into the program.

Qualifications

• At least three years of teaching or leading programs for kids aged 8–13.
• Ability to hold an engaging, organized, and fun classroom for 8–13 year olds.
• Interest in entrepreneurship and startup mindset.
• Experience with project-based learning or enrichment programs.
• Willingness to give and receive feedback to improve programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to three weekly cohorts of kids aged 8–13, including two weekday afternoons and Saturdays.
• Bring STAND’s project-based curriculum to life in a clear, engaging way.
• Create a high-energy, structured environment where kids feel safe sharing ideas and trying again.
• Guide kids with warmth and clear expectations, adapting as needed.
• Help improve lessons and routines and prepare materials.
