Job summary

KidStrong South Tempe (AZ) seeks energetic coaches to work with children aged 15 months through 11 years. Roles include Point Coach, Rover Coach, and Lobby/Front Desk responsibilities, with shifts ranging from mid-mornings to evenings, and weekend programs.

CPR certification and background check are required; training through KidStrong University is ongoing. This is a fast-paced, kid-focused role at our Tempe center.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with kids.
• Athletic, coaching, teaching, or pediatric background preferred.
• Comfortable talking to parents and explaining concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coach ages 15 months–11 years with current week's programming; explain curriculum to parents in one sentence.
• Create positive interactions with students and families before, during, and after class; maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational demeanor.
• Record attendance, awards, and progress in KS Coach App.
• Read and react to daily Shift Operations Report (SOR) in Slack; post AARs as assigned.
• Maintain daily and weekly cleaning and equipment checklists.
• Communicate professionally in Slack; check messages before shifts.
• Complete KidStrong University modules before training and ongoing.
• Coach special events when scheduled.
