Job summary

The Bay Club Company is seeking a Family Programming Associate to care for children aged six months through twelve years in our Walnut Creek facility. Under the supervision of the Family Programming Director, you will create a safe, clean, and engaging environment where kids can learn and play.

Responsibilities include supervising play spaces, guiding age-appropriate activities, greeting families, maintaining cleanliness, and following opening/closing checklists.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience caring for children in daycare or similar setting.
• Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service.
• Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Enthusiastic, responsible, dependable team player.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Computer literate and proficient with basic software.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for children ages six months through twelve years.
• Provide a safe, clean environment including sanitizing toys and play areas.
• Ensure the childcare space is supervised and staffed.
• Complete opening and closing operation checklists.
• Greet parents and children and invite participation in activities.
• Interact with children, especially older, shy, or bored ones; comfort crying children.
• Organize age-appropriate activities like crafts and story time.
• Treat children with respectful guidance and discuss behavior appropriately.
• Be present on the floor and offer assistance as needed.
• Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.
• Participate in events, programs, meetings, and training.
• Represent the club professionally in image, dress, and response.
