Job summary

The Bay Club Company is seeking a Family Programming Associate to care for children ages six months through twelve years in a safe, clean, and engaging environment.

Under the direction of the Family Programming Director, you will lead age-appropriate activities, supervise all child zones, and greet parents with warmth while upholding our Code of Culture.

This role requires a minimum of one year of childcare experience, a proactive team player attitude, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience caring for children in daycare or babysitting environments.
• Professional, friendly manner with excellent customer service abilities.
• Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.
• Self-motivated, takes initiative and willing to acquire new skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for children ages six months through twelve years.
• Provide a safe, clean environment including sanitizing toys and play areas, check and change diapers, pick up toys, and wipe down tables and counters.
• Ensure the entire childcare space is supervised and that every zone with a child is staffed.
• Ensure that all items on the opening and closing operations checklists are completed.
• Greet parents and children with a smile; invite children to join activities.
• Engage with children at all times; focus on older, shy, or bored children; comfort crying children.
• Organize and implement age-appropriate activities such as craft time and story time.
• Ensure children are treated with respectful guidance; discuss behavior appropriately.
• Be present on the floor and offer assistance as necessary.
• Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.
• Participate in events, programs, meetings and training.
• Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and prompt follow-through.
