Qualifications

• 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 6 months related child care experience or training preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and parents in a positive manner while monitoring entry and exit according to center policy.
• Lead daily crafts and activities for all ages and skill levels with age-appropriate interactions.
• Enforce center policies to ensure a safe environment for all children.
• Provide parents and children a comfortable, safe and secure environment in a friendly setting.
• Respond to parent feedback or questions and escalate to supervisor when needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry infants and toddlers.
• Be flexible with center hours and work schedules.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and communicate confidently with EMS.
