Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, seeks a part-time Child Care Attendant at West Clermont HealthPlex in Batavia, Ohio. The position involves safe, engaging activities for children for about 6 hours per week, typically Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

You will greet parents, plan age-appropriate activities, supervise play, ensure safety, and assist with reading, painting, and crafts while maintaining cleanliness of toys and spaces. CPR/First Aid is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with young children and customer service preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work quickly and accurately.
• Computer proficiency: Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet parents and follow up on child needs.
• Plan activities and supervise age-appropriate games.
• Observe and engage with children.
• Ensure safety and developmentally engaging activities.
• Participate in activities: reading, painting, crafts.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
