Job summary

HopeWest in Grand Junction, CO seeks an Administrative Assistant for Kids Bereavement. This regular full-time role supports the Adult Bereavement function, coordinating activities, maintaining records, and handling scheduling and communications.

First point of contact for grief services, you’ll need strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of admin experience in healthcare or related fields, a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience supporting healthcare/human services programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic records systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities and maintain accurate records.
• Support scheduling and client communications for bereavement services.
• Serve as first point of contact for grief support inquiries.
• Collaborate with leadership, counselors, volunteers and other departments.
