Job summary

Kidcreate Studio Bloomfield is seeking talented art instructors to teach our Kidcreate Academy curriculum, helping children develop real artistic skills over time in a fun, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with kids, can confidently teach foundational art techniques, and bring energy to a high-spirited, fast-paced studio. We offer flexible schedules, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in drawing, painting, color theory, and composition.
• PDF art portfolio of 5–10 works or portfolio website required with the application.
• Experience teaching or working with children, ability to lead groups and manage a classroom.
• Ideal candidates have a degree or coursework in Art Education, Fine Arts, Design, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach structured art lessons that develop skills progressively over time.
• Facilitate engaging classes for children of various ages and skill levels.
• Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques.
• Break complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps.
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
