Job summary

Golden Touch is seeking a Technical Designer for childrenswear to translate design intent into production-ready garments. You will develop specs, manage fittings, and produce vendor-ready tech packs while ensuring fit accuracy, brand integrity, and speed-to-market in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Design, Product Development, and cross-functional teams to maintain quality across multiple styles and ensure deadlines are met from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technical Design or related field.
• 3–5 years in Technical Design, preferably children's apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, balance, and fabrics.
• Experience developing specs, fittings, and managing production.
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, and PLM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial garment specifications for costing and sample production.
• Create and maintain vendor-ready tech packs with sketches, materials, and construction details.
• Conduct fit sessions and manage fit through production sample approval.
• Evaluate garments for fit, balance, and construction; provide actionable comments.
• Establish specs and construction requirements across garment types.
• Communicate fit revisions and technical direction to factories via tech packs.
