Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a 3D Technical Designer for children\'s apparel in NYC. You\'ll develop and maintain fit and construction standards, partnering with Design and Production to ensure brand quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include creating spec packages, leading fit sessions, and communicating construction details to vendors while ensuring compliance with child-safety requirements. Proficiency in Browzwear and MS Office is preferred; office-based 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in children's apparel
• Browzwear 3D software or similar experience
• Measuring sample points to ensure tolerance
• Knowledge of knit and woven garment construction
• Knowledge of patternmaking, sewing terminology, and garment construction
• Understanding of garment manufacturing and product development
• Proficient in Excel and MS Word; Illustrator a plus
• Willing to work in the office 5 days/week

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fit and construction standards for brand consistency
• Create spec packages with grade rules and non-standard construction details
• Accurately measure and evaluate development and proto samples for specs and workmanship
• Lead fit sessions with Design and Production
• Communicate measurement, construction and workmanship details to vendors with diagrams/patterns
• Ensure products meet children's safety requirements with Production/Compliance
• Answer questions via email regarding fit, specs, pattern and construction
