Job summary

Life Time Cary is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will lead engaging activities, ensure safety, and communicate with parents; hosting events may be included.

Applicants should have First Aid and CPR certifications within 60 days and prior experience with children is preferred. This role is onsite with dynamic, family-focused programming.

Qualifications

• Less than a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests professionally.
• Instructs activities to foster child development.
• Prepares for class and transfers kids to programming.
• Maintains attendance and development records.
• Maintains a safe, healthy environment.
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents.
• Promotes Junior programming to boost participation.
• Restocks supplies and cleans after class.
• Handles incidents calmly and professionally.
