Job summary

Life Time Inc. invites applications for a Kids Instructor to deliver educational and fitness-minded programming for children from 3 months to 11 years within the Kids Academy. You will greet members, conduct activities, and ensure a fun, safe environment during classes.

This role requires First Aid/CPR certification within 60 days, completion of internal Learnings, and prior experience teaching young children. Flexible weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Learnings before first day.
• Experience teaching children in ages 3–11 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Fosters cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through organized activities.
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains records of attendance, development, and incidents.
• Monitors safety with respect to toys, equipment, and surroundings.
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents and team members.
• Promotes all Junior programming to boost participation.
• Maintains the Kids Academy areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking.
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
