Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver age-appropriate, fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years within the Kids Academy. You will organize activities, host events, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for families.

The role emphasizes teaching, child development, and teamwork, with responsibilities including attendance tracking, event hosting, and collaboration with parents and staff to maintain a high-quality program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma not required.
• Complete Kids On-Demand Learnings before first day.
• First Aid and Infant/Child CPR and Adult CPR/AED within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Fosters children’s development by leading organized activities per schedule.
• Prepares for class and safely transfers kids to/from programming.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Monitors safety and environment around toys and equipment.
• Uses positive behavior management and clear parent/team communication.
• Promotes Junior programming to boost Kids & Aquatics participation.
• Keeps Kids Academy clean and restocks supplies after classes.
• Handles incidents calmly and professionally.
