Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY, seeks an Associate Transplant Coordinator to support kidney transplant care. You will work with transplant coordinators and clinicians to schedule appointments, coordinate communications, and ensure timely completion of transplant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; not required.
• EPIC knowledge preferred.
• Transplant work experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Administrative experience in a clinic setting required.
• Knowledge of third-party insurances, government programs, and other insurance agencies for authorizations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative aspects of transplant processes, including communication with patients, clinical staff, and outside organizations.
• Manage appointment scheduling and document completion to ensure smooth patient care.
• Input sensitive patient data into scheduling systems and arrange interpreter services as needed.
• Assist with post-treatment appointments and other requested transplant services.
