The YMCA in Cary, NC is seeking a Kid Zone Care Attendant to supervise children and deliver a quality experience aligned with our core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
Responsibilities include supervising activities, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and maintaining open communication with parents and staff. Must be 16 or older; infant care experience is preferred; evening and weekend flexibility may be required.
Under the leadership of the program supervisor, coordinator and/or director, the Kid Zone Care Attendant provides direct supervision to a group of children in a childcare setting. They will help to provide a quality experience to children and parents through our YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
The Kid Zone Care Attendant is responsible for managing those functions in accordance with the stated mission, goals and policies established by the administrative staff, governing committees and Board of Directors of the YMCA.
Job Schedule: Must be available Mondays and Fridays but other morning shifts may be available other weekdays. Must have previous experience caring for infants.
