The Kid Zone Assistant Teacher will possess strong educational skills, with a background in classroom teaching or group tutoring. In collaboration with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher will providehigh quality youth programs to our members, bringing a positive, professional attitude, and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Supervise and ensure safety of children in KIDS ZONE.
• Engage in warm, caring interactions and fun, imaginative play with children.
• Implement positive guidance techniques and maintain classroom control.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and environment.
• Check in children and or rotate positions within KIDS ZONE.
• Contact parents via phone system in accordance with our use policy

Communicat ion and Re lationships

• Communicate timely and follow up, as appropriate
• Provide membership sales team with guest/prospect lead contact information
• Active participation in required events, required programs, required meetings and required trainings

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Flexibility in work schedule, as job may require day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Previous childcare experience preferred.
• Infant/Child/Adult CPR Certification required (From either Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• TB test results (results can be from up to 12 months prior to hire date.
