Job summary

Oswegoland Park District is seeking a part-time Kid's Connection leader to support activities at District 308 elementary schools. The role reports to the site supervisor and involves daily program implementation, activity scheduling, and supervising children in line with program goals.

The ideal candidate is 16+ with an understanding of children's development and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. This position requires collaboration with staff, parents, and park district personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Knowledge of children's physical, emotional and developmental patterns.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
• Demonstrates behavior aligned with Park District values.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities and interact with children in Kid's Connection.
• Assist in planning and organizing a multi-recreational program for grades K-5.
• Coordinate with staff, parents, school personnel and park district personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
