Job summary

Oswegoland Park District is seeking a part-time Junior Kid's Connection Leader at the South Point Center to implement the daily program, supervise children, and help schedule activities in line with the program’s goals and philosophy. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the role requires energy, adaptability, and the ability to work with youth in a dynamic environment.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and prepared to engage children with care and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• Special knowledge of children's physical, emotional, and developmental patterns
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances
• Understand and exhibit behavior consistent with stated values of the Park District

Responsibilities

• Significant involvement in leading activities and interacting with children in the Junior Kid's Connection Program
• Some involvement in planning and organizing a multi-recreational program
• Some involvement with staff, parents, school and Park District personnel
• Other duties as assigned
