Job summary

Independent School District 15 is seeking Kids Connection Support Staff for the morning program at Cedar Creek Elementary School (K-5). This role runs 7:30am–8:45am, Monday through Friday, 171 pro-rated days for the 2026-2027 year.

The position supports the Kids Connection program with immediate vacancy and offers eligibility for benefits after 1,020 hours. The successful candidate will work with students who display challenging behaviors, using positive behavior intervention, clear

Qualifications

We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is comfortable and experienced in working with students of challenging behaviors.

• Skilled in positive behavior intervention
• 18 years of age or older, required.
• Training and experience related to child development, child guidance, cultural dynamics, communication, and activities is desired.
• Effective communication skills, good interpersonal skills with adults and children.
• Help to establish a physical environment that encourages all children to assume responsibility for developing their social, physical and intellectual skills.
• Participate in the development and implementation of creative and research based procedures for enabling special needs children to thrive at Kids Connection.
• First Aid and CPR Certification, preferred.
• CPI Certification, preferred

Positions 1,020 hours or more per year are benefit eligible
