Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel in Tampa is seeking a weekend bartender with proven hospitality experience to ensure a memorable Kickback and guest experience. You will manage the 5:30 p.m.

Kickback, help keep the lobby and kitchen tidy, and maintain inventory and safety standards while delivering warm, friendly service to guests and colleagues. The role emphasizes a can-do spirit, energetic communication, and a positive, professional demeanor to reflect the Drury culture.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability is required.
• Bartender experience is required.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and with clean-up.
• Ensure the kitchen and lobby area are clean and well organized.
• Maintain food safety standards and keep supplies stocked at appropriate levels.
• Provide courteous, friendly service and promote the Drury culture to guests and coworkers.
• Answer guest questions with knowledge of the hotel, area, and events.

What you will do:

Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback “happy hour” … well, happy for our guests.

• Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and with clean-up.

• See to it that the kitchen and lobby area are clean and well organized.

• Ensure that food safety standards are met and that supplies are fully stocked at appropriate levels.

• Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers.

• Answer guest’s questions using your knowledge of the hotel, area, and events.

• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 Service attitude.
