Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel Chattanooga is hiring for a kitchen/food service role to support the 5:30 Kickback program, ensure clean and welcoming spaces, and maintain food safety standards. You will interact with guests and help create a warm Drury experience.

The position emphasizes friendly communication, inventory control, and a focus on hospitality excellence in a busy hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service desired.
• Ability to inventory food items and calculate reorder levels.
• Friendly, welcoming manner with guests.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and clean-up.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and lobby area.
• Ensure food safety standards are met and supplies stocked.
• Uphold high integrity and hospitality to promote Drury culture.
• Answer guest questions with knowledge of hotel, area and events.
• Provide courteous, guest-focused service with a positive attitude.

What you will do:

Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback “happy hour” … well, happy for our guests.

• Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and with clean-up.
• See to it that the kitchen and lobby area are clean and well organized.
• Ensure that food safety standards are met and that supplies are fully stocked at appropriate levels.
• Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers.
• Answer guest’s questions using your knowledge of the hotel, area, and events.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 Service attitude.
