Patterson Autos is seeking a driven Warranty Administrator to support Kia warranty processing for Tustin Kia and Mission Viejo Kia. You will handle claims, ensure documentation, and collaborate with service teams and Kia representatives to keep processes accurate and efficient.

You will work across two locations as needed, bringing strong organization and a Kaizen mindset to continuously improve warranty workflows and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders for accuracy and documentation.
• Prepare and submit Kia warranty claims per current policies.

• Monitor claim status and pursue resolution of pending or unpaid claims.
• Maintain audit-ready warranty records and monitor aging/receivables.
• Stay updated on Kia warranty policies, recalls and campaigns.
• Communicate warranty questions or issues with Kia reps and leadership.
• Help develop consistent, efficient warranty processes across two locations.

Position Overview

• The Kia Warranty Administrator will support warranty administration for both Tustin Kia and Mission Viejo Kia, helping ensure warranty claims are processed accurately, completely and promptly.
• The position works closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts personnel, Service Managers, dealership leadership and Kia representatives.
• The individual may work between both Kia locations as business needs require.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness and proper supporting documentation.
• Prepare, process and submit Kia manufacturer warranty claims in accordance with current policies and procedures.
• Identify missing or incomplete documentation and work with dealership team members to correct it.
• Monitor pending, rejected, returned or unpaid claims and follow through aggressively until resolution.
• Maintain accurate, organized and audit-ready warranty records and assist with monitoring claim aging and receivables.
• Stay current with Kia warranty policies, recalls, campaigns and procedural changes.
• Communicate professionally with Kia representatives and dealership leadership regarding warranty questions or claim issues.
• Support both Kia dealerships in developing consistent, efficient warranty processes and continually look for ways to improve accuracy and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership experience is helpful, particularly in Service, Parts, Accounting or Warranty Administration.
• Kia or other manufacturer warranty experience is a plus, but is not required for the right candidate.
• Light automotive technical knowledge is preferred; curiosity and the ability to learn are more important than knowing everything on day one.
• Strong computer, data-entry, administrative, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of two dealership teams.

The Warranty administrator Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $25.00 and $29.00. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
