Job summary

Palmen Auto Stores is seeking a high-talented Kia Service Manager to lead a busy import service department. You will drive department performance by building, developing and retaining a strong team of service advisors, technicians and porters, while coaching for CSI and revenue growth.

You will implement training plans, manage daily service operations, and act as the liaison between advisors, technicians and customers, ensuring prompt, courteous and effective service aligned with Kia standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven success as a Service Manager at a dealership or service repair shop.
• Intermediate computer proficiency; CDK/ADP experience a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service reflecting CSI and Kia standards.
• Provide high level support to sales operations by meeting service needs timely and efficiently.
• Hire, train and monitor Service Department employees to ensure quality service.
• Serve as liaison between service advisors, technicians and customers.
• Manage and hire Service Department staff, prioritizing required services.

We are searching for a high talented and motivated Kia Service Manager with a proven track record of success in one or multiple import service departments. Being a Service Manager for Palmen Auto Stores entails a great deal of responsibility with high rewards for success. As a Service Manager at Palmen Autos Stores, you will be accountable for prompt and effective service to our customers. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the performance of the service department by building, developing and ultimately retaining a great team. Developing plans to motivate, promote important trainings, and coaching performance of service advisors, technicians and porters you'll be able to find success with customer satisfaction (CSI) and ultimately grow revenue in line with targeted business and financial objectives.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service reflective through the department CSI and through the Kia manufacturer standards

Provide a high level of support to the new and used vehicle sales operations by ensuring their service needs are met in a timely and efficient manner

Ensure the correct handling of all aspects of the service transaction by thoroughly hiring, training and monitoring employees daily

Serving as a liaison between service advisors, technicians and customers

Manage and Hire Service Department employees - technicians and service advisors prioritize required services

Qualifications

Must have at least 3 years of proven success as a Service Manager at a dealership or service repair shop experience

Intermediate computer proficiency is required; CDK/ADP experience a plus

Top level management skills with an impeccable work ethic, and positive attitude

Strong communication and collaboration skills, always professional, a team player, passionate, driven

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
