C. Harper Auto Group is seeking a skilled KIA Certified Technician to join our team. We are dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive service and customer experiences, with growth opportunities within a family-owned company.

As a KIA expert, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including complex electrical and diesel systems, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Advanced knowledge of KIA vehicles and electrical systems.
• Experience with diesel engines.
• KIA Certifications required.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Engage directly with customers to understand vehicle issues and deliver efficient service.
• Develop and execute comprehensive work plans based on diagnostics.
• Perform advanced diagnostic tests on KIA vehicles and interpret results.
• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicle systems including suspensions, steering, and exhausts.
• Execute repairs or replacements on transmissions, brakes, engines and more.
• Respond to emergencies with field visits and provide immediate customer assistance.
• Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure issues are resolved and performance is met.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks.
• Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Consultation: Engage directly with customers to understand their vehicle issues, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
• Work Plan Preparation: Develop and execute comprehensive work plans based on thorough vehicle assessments and diagnostics.
• Diagnostic Testing: Perform advanced diagnostic tests on KIA vehicles, interpreting results to identify and propose appropriate solutions.
• Vehicle Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts, to diagnose potential problems.
• Repair and Replacement: Execute repairs or replacements on critical vehicle components, including transmissions, brakes, engines, and more.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations and sudden breakdowns with field visits, providing immediate assistance to customers.
• Performance Testing: Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure issues are resolved and performance standards are met.
• Routine Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Advanced knowledge of KIA vehicles, electrical systems, and diesel engine mechanisms.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in using maintenance tools, repair equipment, and diesel engine diagnostic software.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer systems and relevant electronics.
• Certifications: KIA Certifications are required for this position.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Drivers License: A valid drivers license is required.
