ContactLink Solutions LLC in the United States is seeking a skilled Khmer-English interpreter for a fully remote, full-time contractor role. You will join a team of international interpreters and support excellent communication between Khmer and English speakers from home.

The position requires 3+ years of interpretation experience, fluency in English and Khmer, and the ability to work in a quiet, secure environment with reliable internet and appropriate hardware.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Khmer.
• Based in US.
• Minimum 3 year of interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter's code of conduct.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (especially healthcare and medical terminology).
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 year of interpretation experience

Technical Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
