Job summary

ContactLink Solutions is seeking a Khmer-English interpreter based in the United States for a fully remote, full-time contractor role. You will join a team of international interpreters and provide accurate interpretation between Khmer and English speakers, working from a quiet home office after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Khmer.
• Based in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years of interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to render accurate concepts according to interpretation protocols.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally following interpreter's code of conduct.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (especially healthcare and medical terminology).
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
