KFC Shift Supervisor

Join to apply for the KFC Shift Supervisor role at Kentucky Fried Chicken KFC.

As a Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising, training, and motivating Team Members, assisting in the efficient operation of the kitchen, stocking and maintaining required inventory levels, handling cash and preparing reports, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Duties also include various customer service activities and product preparation. A successful Shift Supervisor will support the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager by running great shifts in a self‑sufficient manner. Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems; seek help when appropriate; and be willing to provide assistance and guidance to others. Excellent communication, management, leadership, and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Ensure that all Team Members complete tasks for their assigned position
• Work with management and cooperate with peers/employees
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Show initiative to go beyond what is simply required
• Actively provide ongoing constructive and complimentary training/feedback to Team Members
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times
• Assist RGM with facility maintenance ensuring health/safety standards are followed at all times

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Able to do basic business math
• Able to stock shelves and coolers
• Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction
• Able to sweep/mop floors, dust shelves, and lift/carry out trash containers to an outside bin

• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
