Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Akron in Akron, OH is seeking a full-time Keyholder/Shift Supervisor to manage daily operations, operate the cash register, and perform opening and closing procedures. You will help ensure accurate donations, daily statements, and deposits.

You will inspect items for sale, price and stage them for resale, support service participants, and promote safety and cleanliness. Strong communication and dependable teamwork are essential to support our mission.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to operate cash register and provide customer service.
• Excellent communication skills are desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately and efficiently; perform opening and closing procedures and nightly deposits.
• Inspect textiles and goods to determine sale ability; sort, hang, tag, price and prepare items for resale.
• Promote the development of service participants and maintain a safe, clean work area.
