Moleskine America, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our New York stores. You will deliver warm, knowledgeable service, tell the Moleskine story, and help customers find products that express their creativity.

This is a lean, high-energy environment where independence and teamwork go hand in hand. You'll handle opening/closing tasks as a keyholder, assist with merchandising, stock management, and POS transactions while supporting store leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and drive sales.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule with reliability and punctuality.
• Confidence in performing keyholder duties (opening/closing, cash handling, operational oversight).

Responsibilities

• Share the Moleskine story and guide customers toward suitable products.
• Build customer relationships to drive loyalty and sales.
• Create an engaging in-store experience reflecting creativity.
• Perform keyholder duties including opening and closing the store, managing cash, and overseeing operations when managers are not present.
• Manage solo coverage while staying aligned with team and leadership directions.
• Keep the store visually appealing through merchandising and proper presentation.
• Collaborate with the team and mentor new associates, supporting a learning culture.
• Operate POS, manage stock, and ensure inventory flows smoothly to support the customer journey.
