Moleskine America, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our Rockefeller & Grand Central locations in New York. You will deliver exceptional service, guide customers toward products that express their ideas, and contribute to a warm, creative store atmosphere.

In this role you’ll support weekday daytime shifts, handle cash and opening/closing duties, and help maintain an engaging, organized retail space that invites storytelling and connection with customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and drive sales.
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule with reliability and punctuality.
• Confidence in performing keyholder duties (opening/closing, cash handling).

Responsibilities

• Share the Moleskine story and guide customers toward tools for expression.
• Achieve sales goals by building genuine connections and loyalty.
• Deliver a warm, engaging environment reflecting creativity and culture.
• Perform keyholder duties, including opening/closing, cash management, and operational oversight.
• Independently manage the customer experience during solo shifts while aligning with team priorities.
• Uphold Moleskine’s visual identity through merchandising and store presentation.
• Collaborate with the team, mentor new associates, and support storytelling.
• Operate POS, manage stock, and ensure inventory flows to support the customer journey.
